The King Tut Museum is located on the ground floor of the Genena City Shopping Centre in Sharm El Sheikh. It is one of the top tourist attractions in South Sinai and is open to both visiting travellers and locals.

The museum displays objects from the tomb of King Tutankhamun of Egypt. It includes: a series of photographs depicting the opening of the tomb and some handwritten documents. The tomb of King Tutankhamun was discovered in 1922. Also on display are: sarcophagi, a mummy, gold jewellery and the pharaoh's belongings (sandals, jewellery boxes, a tiara, a throne, a chariot, etc.) The site is really interesting. If you come to the King Tut Museum, please note the main thing: everything here is a COPY. However, they are very professionally made, the exhibits are interesting and beautiful and the fresh gilding makes them look like real works of art, and the accompanying top-notch lighting system leaves a good impression. The museum is open from 17:00 to 00:00, ticket price USD 15 per adult. You can visit on your own or, if you wish, as part of a sightseeing tour: Different - Sharm El Sheikh or the city through the eyes of a local.
